Junior Accountant

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

• Uploading and matching financial data from files into 1C (Canada) and other accounting systems (including the Cypriot BTMC system)
• Entering invoices and ensuring timely and accurate posting
• Adding and maintaining new partners/vendors in the accounting system
• Assisting in preparation of financial statements and periodic reports
• Ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of accounting records
• Supporting other accounting functions as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• At least 1+ year of experience in accounting or a related financial role
• Good Excel skills (at least intermediate) 
• Hands-on experience with 1C (data entry, invoice posting, partners/vendors creation)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of responsibility
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and documentation flow
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or ongoing studies) is a plus 
• Experience in fintech or high-transaction environments is a strong plus
• Good command of English and fluent Russian
