As the Anti-Fraud Product Owner, you will define and lead the development of anti-fraud strategies and solutions for both our PSP and Payment Gateway products. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact fraud prevention capabilities that align with Visa and Mastercard requirements, regulatory standards, and evolving trends in fraud. As the Anti-Fraud Product Owner, you will define and lead the development of anti-fraud strategies and solutions for both our PSP and Payment Gateway products. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact fraud prevention capabilities that align with Visa and Mastercard requirements, regulatory standards, and evolving trends in fraud. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and external partners to deliver resilient and intelligent fraud controls.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
- Own the end-to-end fraud prevention product roadmap for both the PSP and Payment Gateway platforms.
- Design and deliver anti-fraud features including rules engines, transaction scoring, behavioral analysis, and real-time monitoring systems.
- Ensure all solutions meet Visa and Mastercard compliance standards, including TC40, SAFE, VROL, and Ethoca integrations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, and Risk teams to define product requirements and build scalable fraud prevention infrastructure.
- Develop real-time risk scoring systems and enhance fraud detection accuracy across various transaction types.
- Monitor fraud KPIs such as false positives, chargeback rates, and fraud-to-sales ratios to drive ongoing optimization.
- Provide merchants with flexible tools like customizable rules and risk segmentation, and integrate with third-party fraud tools as needed.
- Support investigations and response efforts during fraud incidents, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Stay current on relevant regulations such as PSD2, 3DS2, AML/KYC, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
- Hands-on experience designing and launching anti-fraud solutions for both PSP and gateway environments.
- Deep understanding of fraud patterns, risk management strategies, and fraud detection technologies.
- Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard fraud-related requirements and programs.
- Ability to translate fraud trends and business needs into scalable product features.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional agile teams.
- Understanding of chargeback management systems and dispute flows.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, or basic data analysis.
- Background in machine learning model development or integration is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Russian
